I wasn't looking to get buff, but I had an extra 10 lbs. to lose. I bought Mike's book because I needed a routine that I could use while I was traveling for work that didn't require weights. I liked the different variations this book provided for each routine- with weights and without. It has been a couple of months, and I successfully lost the 10 lbs. I wanted to and have been keeping them off!

The workout programs are great, but Mike's book is worth it just for Chapter 4, the overview of diet requirements. I thought I was pretty knowledgable about diets and how to eat, but he takes it to the next level. He talks about fad diets, blood sugar levels, boosting metabolism the safe way, and what helped me the most.... the problems with the foods I was eating. Highly recommended if you are looking for a healthier workout and diet program.
